We deliver packages and smiles to Amazon customers everyday. As a delivery associate, you will deliver packages in the comfort of a new, safe, and technologically advanced Sprinter van to homes, businesses, and other delivery locations.
With a strong work ethic and a high regard for safety for self and the public, you will play a key role in keeping our commitment to exceed customer expectations and promote our safety culture. Our expectation of you is to adhere to all safety standards and make sure customer orders, large or small, are delivered on time to the right location.

Job Requirements:

  • Proof of identity and authorization to work in the United States.
  • Driver’s License
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Clean MVR for the past 5 years.
  • Clean criminal background screen for the last 7 years (National & Local)
  • Pass a 5-panel drug screen.
  • Comfortable with using mobile technology.
  • Ability to operate and navigate a 10,000 pound van.
  • Ability to effectively operate a GPS.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull and move boxes up to 50 pounds each.
  • Capable of moving up and down stairs.

About the Position:

  • Routes originate from the Amazon delivery station in Gainesville, VA.
  • Arrive to station by the required time to receive your van assignment based on the weekly schedule.
  • On-call drivers will need to be available with little notice (bonus potential).
  • Attend the morning stand up to review safety procedures and goals for the day.
  • Receive your route assignment and the company provided smartphone/GPS device.
  • Perform a pre-trip vehicle inspection thoroughly checking the van for any damages.
  • Load delivery vans accurately and safely.
  • Deliver packages on your route in exactly the manner that our customer requires.
  • Follow all delivery instructions/notes as directed by customer (when in doubt, follow company procedures).
  • Promptly communicate any delivery issues while on route.
  • Possible help another driver as directed (‘rescue’ routes).
  • Return to station after refueling vehicle for the next day (Fuel card provided).
  • Remove trash & debris from van.
  • Return smartphone / GPS scanner device and keys, debrief with manager.
  • Perform post trip inspection noting any required maintenance items
  • Confirm next scheduled workday.

  • Physically able to handle fast-paced walking, lifting, bending and stooping.
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs package without assistance.
  • Must be comfortable working in vary weather conditions.
  • Climb in and out of a sprinter van consistently throughout the day.
  • Use handheld technology to deliver customer packages.
  • Sort and prepare a delivery route section to meet customer satisfaction while out on route.
  • Ensure delivery vehicle / sprinter van is always clean, fueled, and in good operating condition.
  • Capable of working a flexible schedule (weekend availability is mandatory / but not always required ) we operate 7 days a week, 361 days a year.
